PS Brushes don't have much to do with what we are talking about, I suppose ... but you sorta missed the important part there P.

^ This is a C4D render with texture added in C4D. Other than text it is 100% 3D render. Quite relivent to the discussion I think.

^ Though these sigs have some minor brush work and some extra layers they too are nearly all render.

Now, I noticed somewhere ... on the first page I think ... that you wanted some comparitive justification for Maples "trendy" label, and expected to see some of our 3D work.
As stated before I am a novice with this stuff and have no real quality work to show.

To understand what Maple is refereing to in referance to "trendy" I suggest you brouse this site a bit and feel free to hit some of these fine artists design sites: http://www.leetweb.com

The concept of "trendy" comes from an overwelming relation between artists syles and subject matter ... which is overly obvious at Leetweb. While I have always been fasinated with such art I can certainly understand the relation, as you should after a few hours in the "test" area.

And that is part of the wonder that is AA.com's sig section. Most everyone here understands the massive presence of "pop", "trendy", or "cliche" sigs and small works. And by understanding that they work in a
different fassion, a different manner to create unique work.
You could have just told him to stfu like the rest of us.. nag:
