(instant checks can take up to 3 days) if you want to avoid the instant check get the pistol permit and that will work as your instant check.
It is worth your drive to go to Fenton and visit Guns Galore. They have an awesome selection and have the best prices I have found in the state. With the assault weapons ban ending I have noticed most military type weapons have dropped drastically in price. They have all kinds of goodies AKs, AR15s, SKSs, M1s and most other WWII weapons. Go there and prepare to walk out with a woody!!!!
