Yes, I was suprised by some things as well. You know, my local walmart had a whole shitload of copies by the time I got there, about 8 in the morning.
The gameplay is excelent, as are the near-perfect controls. I've said it before and Ill say it again, Halo controls > Keyborad and mouse.
The way I saw it, the gameplay is quite diverse, actually.
