no cant do it at this point in my life. I eat jsut about everything and a lot of it and I do so because I dont gain an ounce. Im light, high metabolism, and I sure as hell am probably going ot have problems with blood pressure cholsterol etc(runs on both sides of family) so im enjoying it while I can. not always enmasse but in enjoyable amounts.
and I loved thi picture on that vegan site

now corect me im wrong but plants grow on earth jsut like animals. They need nutrients, water, and air just like animals. They need sunlight and protection from the enviroment and predators, just like animals. So how is eating a carrot any different than eating a chicken? So what the chicken can go bakaw! and screams when you kill it and it moves. Its not more than a carrot in the grand scheme of things.
In no way do I mean harm to your beliefs. If you want to be a vegan rock on rock: Just stating why at this moment in my life I choose not to give up meats, dairy, or anything rom animals.[/quote:fabac]

A lot of people seem to think our meat comes from healthy chickens and cows, that were raised on a nice ol' farm in Kentucky somewhere...that couldnt be further from the truth...they are born, raised, and then slaughtered in those places...

...and about the carrot/animal thing...carrots can't feel pain...carrots don't get sad/happy...
