What a month. -

Well a couple of weeks ago I was driving along a side road, this was a narrow road and the speed limit was 35. I passed a cop who pulled me over because he said I crossed the center line and I was speeding (going forty). So he just gave me a warning. About an hour later I was driving and noticed my car was steaming out the hood, so I looked at the temprature gauge and it is way overheated. We had it towed to a mechanic who told us it was the cooling fan. So he fixes it and it still overheats. We take it back to him again to find that I blew a head gasket. The car wasn't worth much(96 ford contour). So we decided to get a new one.
After about a week of looking we decided on a 2000 Dodge neon Es. I loved this car and I was very proud of this car. Today I had this car a week and a day. Around 7:30 I took my girlfriend home and was driving back to my house. It just started to snow outside, but i didn't think it was bad yet. So as I was on the same road that I got pulled over on coming down a hill, I hit a patch of ice and went sliding into a ditch, well then the car flipped. I was unhurt but all I could think about afterwards was how my parents had just spent $5,000 and had nothing to show for it. We only had liability insurance. My hand is just cut up from climbing out of the car. I just feel really bad right now. Ill get pics of the car when I can.

Note to self: spend $30/mo less on alcohol, cigarettes and McDonald's and get comprehensive insurance.
No pity on this one. Some dick cheese who only had liability because he wanted to get a car he couldn't afford and sport a cell phone he didn't use cost one of my friends her ability to move anything below her arms.

amazing everyone walked away from it. full coverage is a must guys, ive had a clean record for about 7 years until now. doesnt matter how good of a driver you are, its there for a reason. dealing with the insurance companies is a bitch, but i dont wanna think about what its like to deal with the shit if you werent insured.

Had my first accident ~ 7 years ago in Toronto somewhere between Yonge and Steel for you TOers, hit a Honda in front of me and total'd my old Audi.
Second time I was in Saginaw. Probably one of the top 5 stupidest thing I did in life. Icing condition, and I was showing off to my gf's sister how to deal with sliding condition and well, I winded up doing a 180 into a ditch. oOo:
Sorry to hear about your accident. Drive safe.

I've been in two accidents:
1. Driving a 70 Cutlass, a dodge neon ran a redlight and I T-boned him. The hood and bumper of my cutlass were somewhat crumpled, the Neon was totally destroyed. Luckily we both walked away unscathed.
2. I was in the drive thru line at White Castle and leaned down to change a CD. My foot let off the brake and I eased into a blue 92 Aerostar van. Not a bump or scratch, but these hicks piled out of the van 'a hootin and 'a hollerin.
Other than that I've been blessed. Sorry to hear about your unfortunate circumstances. Get full-coverage insurance next time, I'm thankful I've always had it.

When: Long time
Who: Van vs Red car
Red car was pulled out of the drive-way too much. Little damage.
