everything. I tried defaults, but i haven't tried making all security low.
Did you download anything (like one of Nyck's movies) the same day you stopped being able to download? Have you done a spyware scan as well as virus scan?

Ive never had firefox before, i was just told it might help...but i can't download anything. Ill probably have to try burning it to a cd on my other computer.
I got this error message to appear by disabling my download in IE.
1) In IE goto tools, Internet options
2) Click the security tab
3) click custom level at the bottom
4) Scroll down to downloads and i currently have:

change the file downloads to enable
5) try to download again!
6) if all this fails go back to step 2 and lower the bar to low.
