Alright, it's about time I stepped in here.

I haven't really noticed any problem with locking the threads that have been locked, but apparently a lot of you do.

Tripper's post was pretty much right on. Here're are the general guidelines that I'd like mods to follow regarding locking threads:

Lock it if:
- it's totally blatant garbage spam
- it's a double post/repeated topic
- it's a direct attack on a forum member
- it's a gravedug topic with nothing relevant added to it
- it's a topic that could've been sent via PM to a particular member
- it contains porn, graphic violence, racial crap
- the topic goes WAAAAAY off topic for a while and loses relevance
- the topic degrades into an endless flame war after a period of time

Silliness is part of this forum and threads shouldn't be locked right off the bat.
