Ahh we have AEPi on our campus as well. I have a bunch of friends in it actually . But you're right, there are other ways to help out in a community, for me it is through my fraternity. Everyone has their own ways of helping if, if at all, and I can see where you're coming from. Fraternities are not for everyone and even though I've only been apart of my fraternity for not even a half year, I definately don't regret joining for a single second. I certainly don't think it's a waste of time, but it just seems you're taking all the sterotypical points on fraternities and greek life and beliving them when there's a completly different side to it.
