What I do not agree with is the man's views on cultures. We are supposed to remove everything they once believed in so the conform to the American Dream? That is total bs. Tell every Jewish family out there that they can't wear yamicas, tell every Italian family that they can't cook pasta, tell every hindu that they must eat cow. Sounds like bigotry to me.
I'm not sure that he was implying that we go that extreme when it comes to yamicas, pasta, and cows. I can see what he talking about when it comes to all of these "puerto rican pride" and "lebanese pride" parades. It is kind of annoying to have all of the people just flock in the street and flaunt about their culture. OK, I could stand it for a day which is totally acceptable, but the truth is it doesn't stop after that parade day. Most of them go around 24/7 yelling their heritage in your face, etc.
