Coleman is Offline Major General Posts: 13,482 Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: University Park, PA	10-21-2005, 03:35 PM I had that exact same problem. I had XP Home on my desktop hard drive. I got a laptop and it came installed with XP Pro. I tried to hook them up but the laptop wouldn't read the desktop's harddrive. So I wound up getting a external hard drive (i wanted to get one anyway) put the files on that, and then transfered the files from the external to the XP Pro on my Laptop.
