I don't think war movies have to show fighting, a movie like Jarhead proves this..I thought it was a unromantic look at war and it was very well done. Your comment reminds me of some of the kids in the theatre (13-14 year olds) looking for a war movie with blood and guts everywhere and they got the opposite. But the t.v spots do show most of the scenes were explosive sequences commence, obvisouly why they think it'll all be fighting.
Incredible movie. I agree with Machette on how the movie showed the "unromantic look at war". I will be willing to see again.
My friend was complaining about it being anti-war. I didn't notice any anti-war stuff in the movie. Just stuff about the Marine's life in Desert Storm. eek:
