Ok so I got my new components for my computer - mobo, cpu, vid card and ram.

I install everything fine, and go to turn on the machine. Only certain items power on: CPU Fan, Vid Card fan and Power Supply (obviously). DVD/CD players dont power on (unless the cords connecting them to the mobo are disconnected), and my LCD monitor doesnt come on (or recognize vid card - it is poweredO. Mobo is refurbished (yea yea) so I have no documentation.

This is what was ordered:

[quote:95e3f]BIOSTAR NF4ST-A9 Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX AMD Motherboard - OEM
Item #: N82E16813138248R $45.60
Track 1 AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 1GHz HT Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3000BPBOX - Retail
Item #: N82E16819103537 $135.00
Track 1 eVGA 256-P2-N553-AX Geforce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail
Item #: N82E16814130283 $189.00
Track 1 mushkin 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model 991145 - Retail[/quote:95e3f]

Honestly dont know whats going on. So annoyed right now, Im thinking of just sending every damn thing back.

Mobo cant be fried or it wouldnt turn on, but only certain items are getting power and powering on. So fucking frustrating.

And how the hell can I send this fucking thing back if the damn superglue on this CPU is good and hardened. . .
