Pretty good demo, ive not touched the 2 missions yet just the skirmish mode. Seems to be a different game every time you play it. The game uses the "sage" engine which generals used so it doesn't really take a "god" pc to run it like some people thought. Suprisingly for an ea game it supports widescren so i was able to play it at 1680x1050. eek:


Its kinda like playing c&c tiberian dawn from 95 only in a 3d viewpoint. The graphics are prety good, not a massive upgrade over geneals but there seems to be a better sense of scale where tanks etc look like theyre a proper size, in past c&c games tanks usually looked too small compared to infantry. Some nice new explosion effects and some other new effects for heat haze and a new effect for a sonic weapon. Ion canon also looks really good and does a good bit of damage. Think i'll be picking this up on launch day.
