Yea, but it looks like the modding is pretty inevasive, and many folks who have had to have theirs repairsed - sent it in and everything was a go.

Normally I wouldnt worry about console errors, but fuck there seems to be ALOT of folks complaining out there. . .but then a majority on other forums I visit do not. I just hate to get stuck with a fucking lemon.

Also this HDTV is available in my area for 500 bucks. It looks like its two years old, but would suit my needs (and cheapness):

Again I only ask because I really dont know what to look for. For example - HDMI? For the average user, I'm guessing HDMI isnt all that - and mostly for videophiles?
