what does this have to do with reparations?!

i swear to god whenever anyone brings up anything about slavery, everyone gets pissed at black people saying to 'put it behind them' etc... this article is simply expaining how this was addressed, and it makes perfect sense to me. perhaps it should not be associated with PTSS in any way, but it seems perfectly logical for some people to feel that their relatives were so badly abused that they themselves suffer stress from it. That is not too far-fetched at all
