Dunfermline lies across the Firth of Forth from my own town, Falkirk. We have a large petrochemical plant here, and the prevailing winds blow all the nasty shit over the water and into the lungs of the Filthy Fifers. Downtown Dunfermline is reminiscent of modern-day Chernobyl.
