If you're comparing that to imus, then I would have had to say something along the lines of "when they use the N-word in rap songs theyre refeing to men in a JOKING manner," for what you just posted to make sense - Seeing as people attacking Imus were questioning whether the context of his statement was infact a joke or was it a serious racial attack. They weren't questioning the gender of the people he was referring to.
