I honest to god cant stand cracked servers. I remember this for - fuck what was that game with the "GO GO GO" with the terrorists, and the cheap ass graphics - I remember that was the first go I had with cracked servers and it was a pain in the ass. If I like a game enough I'll go out and buy it. If MOH had a cd-check I'd buy the game. Same with Battle Field. I'm just gonnna go ahead and use some of the money I've saved from using an "extended trail period" on other games and shell out 50 bucks for this game. From what most folks have been talking about the game isn't realistc but the play is just fun, the vehicles adding just that extra bit of oomph. It WOULD be nice if there was a requirement for teamplay - I know this is possible. However like someone said, egineers regularly hop into tanks and planes and go at it. I do like how the scout is the only one with a snipers, and the assault guy can go nuts with his machine-gun.

I dunno, for some reason, the gameplay that BATTLEFIELD promises, and the immensity of its maps is more than enough for me to pay my 50 bucks on Thursday and join the rest of the world.

Earth and Beyond is something else I'll be giving a look at, and UT2003 I think I wont be playing past the demo.
