Its not a valid point - He's talking about CS, when I believe he means to be talking about Americas Army in regards to military using it for training.
Regardless though, it doesnt make you a killer - A military combat strategist - Maybe - But even then you'd have to play it alot.
Is he gonna ask for military books to be banned as well? What about action movies?

Yeah, it's just illogical to assume that video games make people do these things. How many millions of people play CS? How many have shot people?
Although I do believe that playing FPS games CAN potentially make you better at combat because of all the things you learn (timing your reload, firing in bursts to reduce recoil, kneeling/going prone to increase accuracy, etc... but come on, it's a game. Does playing "Cruisin' USA" at the arcade make me Jeff Gordon? No.
This Thompson guy is an idiot, for being an "expert" he should at least know who publishes the game he's denouncing. And he should try to come with some hard evidence against Cho instead of just assuming all of his speculations are correct...Chris Mathews got on him good for that.

Has he written a similar letter to the US Army regarding Americas Army?
I am fairly certain that it would get the commander in chief impeached
or at least a stern talking to from his mother?
Also did he at all mention if Cho had walkhacks and cham skins and was he patched up to version 2.15 to combat those pesky bunnyhoppers?
These questions need answers ppl!!!!

You guys all interpret him wrong, he never says the games make you a killer, he says they prepare your mindset for those situations.
Other stuff vouches as the stimuli that makes you want to kill -- mental issues, emotional issues, personal desires, etc...

What are you talking about? That game was pure genius. Doesn't anyone remember the level where you drove through the dinosaurs? Total genius.

Yes, we understand that, but we still disagree. We don't believe they prepare your mind for killing. That is total bullshit. I can't believe you're posting on a FPS Gaming forum and you believe that crap. Maybe the combination of mental illness AND a gaming lifestyle could lead to that, sure - But then the key factor is the MENTAL ILLNESS. Not the games.

So hostile Elstatec... I'll just wait for the day you do it to the wrong person and they blow your head off at work and we'll all be discussing J.T.'s new comments on the incident.
