I never said I was excusing Imus. He's a dumbass, period. However, that has 1/100th the personal impact on anybody when compared to what happened to those 2 college students. It deserves at least equal coverage to Imus.

Example: If somebody says in public, "I'm going to kill the President. He's a piece of shit and I'm going to chop his fucking head off!" would that make the headline news? Probably not, people would just be like, "STFU." If somebody actually carries that out, it will be news for a month straight, and probably more.

The lack of the media showing this story isn't even a racial issue to me. It a common sense issue, and it's the right thing to do to pursue this story so that the lawyers and judges have more pressure to send these fuckers straight to Hell. Now it's not exactly right that the media has any impact at all on judicial processes, but they do. It sucks, because the media picks and choses stories to fit their agenda. It's no secret that the media has an eternal boner whenever minorities shout, "RACISM!" when half the time there's no racism to be found.
