I usually have a lot of respect for you, Gerard, but I cannot respect anything about the above statment.....It seems like ignorance on your part.
You are making a generalisation about the small amount of popular rappers you have seen on tv....most probably the sell-outs who turn the urban culture into a joke. The people you have witnessed are only famous because most fans are little girls who like gay music.

Some rappers, mostly underground rappers, rap about real issues they face...and they aren't rich, because of the fact that they are independent artists, so they do have a moral right to say the stuff that they say. Sure everyone has the right to hate what they want, but just remember, when you're talking about rap, you're talking about a whole culture.
