Why should the little turds even bother to learn when examination authorities allow them to use 'text speak' in English exams? Apparently, it doesn't matter how you spell as long as you can get your point across. Pupils get extra marks for using proper English, but that's a bit arse-over-tit if you ask me.

It matters if you can't spell or have bad grammar if you're trying to advance in your career. No one wants to advance a 2nd grader.
