Look at millers Sig. There is a standard issue Army "k-pot". From what i can tell it looks just like the german helmet. Ears are well covered front is cut up for better view. It has the same basic form. The flare at the bottom is less pronounced on the Current US version but is still there. YOu cant see it because of the kevlar cover though.

Despite what you might think those k-pots are freaking heavy. They wear your neck out the first few road marches you do with em. Just pray you never get put in the front lean and rest with it on, that will tire your neck out really fast.
