I was watching A New Hope last nite and I always wonderd why when Luke brings the droids to Obi-Wan he says 'I don't seem to remember owning any droids' like he had never seen R2 or C3PO before. R2 more then saved his skin a ton of times.

He never really "owned" them, but it is a little continuity flaw, I s'pose.
However, as you know, R2-D2 and C3PO weren't unique in their design...there were lotsa astromech and interpreter droids.

So it is a continuity error? Because obi wan had to of remembered R2D2, he saved him alot of times.

He should of just waited, because now the supposed star wars future looks less believable, because 1,2,3 the technology excells that of 4,5,6.
