I don't think the cut-outs work as well with war sigs..... but with the right image it would flow better.
I actually like to see a small trend go for a week or three , gets everyone thinking in new ways , and spawns imaginative sigs.

For instance , my current was cooked up using failed techniques in the Danger Girl stuff.
All it took was seeing some of WRs old stuff to inspire me to use those techniques in a different way.

But I never would have arrived here if I had not tried those techniques in the first place.

Pretty cool, maybe a bit high for my tastes. Too bad IE doesn't support 24 bit PNG alpha blending, or I would be all over these cutout things.

On a old forum I used to post on (FXP) they were able to make non rectangular sigs that looked great. Smooth and everything. i wonder how theyu did it ? One guy had a perfect giraffe head

If they only used it on the one forum, they can adapt the color behind the cutout to the color scheme of the forum, so it looks like it's blended.

you just need to go over it a bunch of times on 400% zoom and clean it up around the edges, its a bitch

then do the two things fireal and proteus told me to do on my popout sig thread
