Ask yourselves: if the government had legalized marijuana and kept it under
control like they do for alcohol, would this have happened ? This is ridiculous.

No, that's why i'm pretty much for legalizing marijuana.
That, and the fact that so much money is spent on trying to stop something that really isn't that harmful. It just makes sense to legalize it and control it.

I wasn't there nor do i know the layout or weapon details but....ya think after hearing a single shot the officers would've seeked cover?
Like i said, hard to comment without knowing details. I'm sure the officers did what they were trained to do but somehow the bad guy(s) had the edge.
|
Yeah, I know. I agree, it does sound kind of oOo:
How can one druggie kill 4 trained cops.
Probably won't know for a while about exactly what happened, so really I can't tell you either.
|
He easily could have been a trained woodsman/ hunter etc. and finding cover in a forest in the winter is extremely hard. considering the foileage is dead, and white snow covers the ground.

It's not like mounties have extensive firearms training: a few trips to a firing
range or anywhere with targets will make anyone as competent. The only real
difference is how someone reacts when in a firefight...

Mounties will have extensive training.
I'm in the reserves and we are tested every year. If its someones job everyday like the RCMP, i'm sure their going to have extensive training.
You can't really train for a firefight, because the only way its going to be realistic is if there is an actual enemy out there. The only thing you can do is teach classes, and hope for the best when it comes around.

cbc news report just said that there was 2 guys in the building and 2 on guard out side (in the front) and the killer snuck into the building and shot the guys inside and most likely killed the guards on the way out then killed himself
