That kind of music should have it's own genre entirely. Not just something under Hip-Hop, because clearly it's not. Maybe something like Party Hip-Pop.
I agree. They barely even "rap" anymore...Its written like nursery rhymes...

I just don't like that the fact I listen to Jay-Z means I listen to nothing else.

Hell everytime I post something different...you tell me not to listen to it becaus eI don't deserve too.

I listen to more than you think I do...but Music is entertainment...like hell...some people out there with better lyrics and worse production...are just straight out boring.

If it's boring...whats the point.

Milla...Even for lil john...snap yo fingahs is a terrible beat and thats saying alot...

though his song...uh throw it up...I love how he used the requiem for a dream sample.

And i don't see how chingy and jay-z can even be compared to each other.

Jay-Z aint like lets say Young Jeezy...where everything is basically about being strapped (which jay-z barely ever talks about guns) or selling coke (which jay-z raps about sometimes)

Allow me to re-introduce myself
My name is Hov', OH, H-to-the-O-V
I used to move snowflakes by the O-Z
I guess even back then you can call me
CEO of the R-O-C, Hov'!

And he has one of my favourite verses of last year....and the only saving grace for late registyration album by kanye

got it from her 'ye damn!
The chain remains, the game is in tact
The name is mine, I'll take blame for that
The pressure's on, but guess who ain't gon' crack? [laughs]
Pardon me I had to laugh at that
How could you falter when you're the rock of gibralter
I had to get of the boat so I could walk on water
This ain't no tall order, this is nothin to me
Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week
I do this in my sleep,
I sold Kilos of coke, (so?) I'm guessin' I can sell CD's
I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man
Let me handle my buisness, damn!
Kanyeez you got me, Freeway and Foxy
YG', Teairra Mari, Petey watch me
Bleek could be one hit away his whole career
As long as I'm alive, he's a millionaire
And even if I die, he's in my will somewhere
So he can just kick back and chill somewhere, oh yeah
He don't even have to write rhymes
The Dynasty like my money last three lifetimes
Shirley Bassey was in the rear sayin exactly
What I was sayin practically me whole carreer
The diamond is forever, I been mindin' this forever
Now the Louis Vuitton Don's timin' couldn't be better
People lined up to see the Titanic sinkin'
Instead we rose from the ash like a phoenix
If you waitin' for the end, the dynasty signed
And what seemed like forever is a mighty long time
I'm young bitches [laughs]
Goodnight!

If this wordplay isn't fucking exceptional...I don't know what is.

Stop posting his lyrics....They're shit. May as well go listen to Big L - He said the same shit but way better.

Jay-Z has like 10 albums and its all the same shit, and yet people still buy the albums and make these outrageous claims only because its the best they know of, and thats because of the terrible state of hiphop.

Listen to what you want shawn, I dont gives a fuck - honestly you're just a retard anyway so it makes sense you would listen to shit music....But whatever, I hate Jay-Z as much in an over-the-top manner as he is liked in an over-the-top manner....and there is no reason why he should have anymore "props" than any other guy like you claim.
He should be given praise for his marketing if anything....and thats it. He isnt any kind of musical genius like everyone claims. The same people that claim that are the people who havent even heard of the decent stuff.

lmfao....Pyro. I say you're retarded because you are. Thats why I originally spoke up my thoughts on GAY-Z when you first posted your sig. Just to annoy you.

When you started trying to make serious claims about Jay-Z that were totally bullshit and unfounded thats when I started to seriously argue...Now all you're doing is recycling your points by posting WEAK lyrics. That's right Shawn, they're shit.
They do nothing at all to explain Jay-Z's place as being recognized as one of the greatest emcees ever. Its all hype, because I read that shit and there is NOTHING amazing. NOTHING interesting. NOTHING original. Its the same old shit.
He's been saying it since Reasonable Doubt came out, about TEN YEARS AGO.
You might have not been listening to rap back then, but I was, and it was kind of a cool album when I heard it - I really liked it, and was excited. Needless to say he disapointed with the following albums. They might not be the worst by any stretch, sure I've heard far worse, but he definitely is NOT THE BEST, or anywhere near the best. Totally average.
That was my argument, and I made my point, all you did with your last post was reinforce my point by posting those average lyrics as if they were something special.
Just like everyone else out there who thinks Jay-Z is something special when its clear to someone who actually listens to GOOD emceeing with GOOD production that he is AVERAGEEEEEE.

All of North American rap blows ass hole. There's only a few rappers who even play their own instruments, learn a talent other than talking and you may be worth more than a 14$ cd.
