also I don't think you can specify which year, or location you will return to, unless you do near infinite revolutiions around the earth

The possibility IS there, but don't count on it. If time is linear, forget about
it: instant paradox. If, however, there are multiverses, you could've simply
travelled to universe B or C, get it ? Michael Crichton's TIMELINE is a pretty
good book that deals with just that.

Time travelling to the future is very much a reality; you do it every night!
SLEEP.

I was waiting for Solidus to reply....if time can bend then there could be universes that exist on a different plane of time than we do...but how would we know?? hmm....
