I stand with Chappy.
But I will say that although I don't agree with a dang thing that Michael Moore says I firmly believe in his constitutional right to free speech. I just wish that he also respected my constitutional rights. And, I wish he would tell an honest story and let the people make up their minds, instead of hiding the facts in his "investigations" that refute his agenda.

I haven't seen him tell an honest story yet. Although I must admit that I have not seen Bowling for Columbine because I did not want to support his efforts with my money. However, I have read about it in a wide variety of publications and it is well documented that he skewed the facts when they didn't tell the story that he wanted to tell. If you skew the facts then you are not telling an "honest story".

Anyone interested in Moore's film should think about downloading "911 - The Road to Tyranny" by Alex Jones. It's very good.

[quote="Short Hand":45dc1]actually i did a major presentation in my philosphy class, a 1 hour presentation on the war and the Ethics of it all. I did not take a stance in presenting it, I only presented both sides arguements and at the end of class I told them to decide for themselves. it was a 20 minute power point so it was long. I showed them where the oil exports were going what US companies privatized the Iraqi utility's, showed Saddam's mass graves & how much of a insane person Uday his son was etc. It got to quite a few people so I think it worked. I remained neutral threw out class not taking a side threw it. I decided it was bets for the day.[/quote:45dc1]
so, im assuming that you had a long red line from those oil reserves to france and russia, right? otherwise, YOU WERE BIASED! and showed all those little russian and frenh missiles and weapons the bathist army was using? and the WMD's going into syria. and that the majority of iraquis are actually happy to have us there, its just a minority of thugs from syria and lebanon fuking shit up, right?

yea, great pres. liked the whole downsizing of the army and selling of nuclear secrets to china thing. and dont forget about his giving up of a chance to kill OBL. the 9/11 commision wants to blame some1 (other than the rat asses that planned and carried it out), blame clinton for letting him live, then telling americans we deserved it.

Um.. Clinton's NAFTA was responsible for the long-term destabilization of the American economy...
As for Michael Moore.. I don't even know what to say. He tries to sound so cool and "enlightened" but he tells 1/10th of the story. He omits so many relevant facts that completely change the context of things that it is ridiculous. Notice Conservatives have no Michael Moore equivalent.. nor an equivalent of the NAACP/ACLU.. or San Fransisco.. etc etc

I don't know how anyone can take him seriously. I know conservatives like him, because he has a conservative point of view, but his arguments are so stupid. he seems to me like hes more concerned with creating a controversy or calling epople idiots than actually discussing the topic. And that's why he's on FOX.
If you go to his site you can pick off something wrong right away:
The O'Reilly Factor (Friday 6/4)
40th anniversary of D-Day oOo:
Bill speaks to author Jon Meachum, who is also managing editor of Newsweek, about the sacrifices made 40 years ago, and whether or not America would make the same sacrifices today.
I know he didn't personally put that up, thats just an example. I also don't like him because he doesn't like Canadians, or anyone out side of the US. I think thats kind of narrow minded. He seems like someone who would say "France sucks" and would never go there to see if he was right because of his pride. His views seem skewed more so then Michael Moore's. You don't like Michael Moore, I don't like Bill O'reilly. That's just me though.
