All I know is that I was watching SPR in 20" widescreen at lunch the other day and it fucking owned, so Macs are alright with me.
I probably wouldn't buy one for home, due to the fact that it must be next to impossible to upgrade.

inhouse, havent had very many problems with it either, proud of our guys, btw we only have maybe 32 employees, so it not like 5000. we do have larger systems for a couple clients however.

Mac's are very nice. We have some brand new G5's at work, very nice machines. I've been playing with them attempting to get them on the network.

The only time I remotely go near a Mac is when I am doing editing with FCP, but I would rather do my work on a PC over a MAC anday, and with Premier Pro 2, and the new edition of Avid, FCP just really gets left in the dust.
