Darth sidious is what Hitler wanted to be...by far the smartest person in the star wars movies...being that he basically manipulated the entire galaxy.

Technically Palpatine kills him because the force lightning seriously fucks up his respirator and probably the rest of his life support.

So if we use wounds as a reason...techically the force lightning wouldn't of killed Vader if Obi Wan didn't beat him in episode III and made him need the suit...

How do you guys know this stuff??? What I just cant figure out is why isnt the plot from the movie enough? Does there always have to be a secret meaning, a message behind everything, secret sub-plots or events that didnt partake in the movie? I mean, take a look at your local Star Wars - dedicated forums...they have incredible theories on the origin of the Sith, Darth Mauls whereabouts before the movie...how do you guys get this stuff? It's not as if the directors are catering to the crowd who reads all the inside-books, then watches the movies...what you're supposed to see and know is in the movies, isnt it?[/quote:25d72]

by reading many many star wars books, and reasearching it all. i used to be a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge star wars freak when i was like 10-12. i have probably somewhere in my garage 234958249584 star wars merchandise items.

go to star wars.com and check out the extended universe.

btw Himmler, who writes the best star wars books? the only one ive read is Shadows of the Empire because its considered to be 'part' of the actual storyline. anything you recommend that is considered to be part of the whole saga?

It could've been a regular Corellian freighter. The Falcon wasn't unique in its design.

No doubt it was an nod to the Falcon put in for the fanboys, though.

Yeah, saw it on Saturday. Didn't see the Falcon, though. I'll scour the DVD when it comes out.
