Blitz your an idiot its to bad we cant time travel so that you could have your dream of being an officer in the SS, if this had been a hollywood patriotic series every soldier would have come home safe and sound and the germans would have been running around in circles yelling Hooooogggaaannn!!!!, plus its a true story.

I don't call myself anti-american, but the whole America vs. Germany is kinda over played. Hell, it's a movie made my American moviemakers so what do you expect. I wanna see a good war movie about the Finnish Winter War, the invasion of Poland, the Commoenwealth forces in Indo-China, or the Japanese invasion of Manchuria.

I agree, I too would like to see some battles and other aspects of the war that have not been done on film. And to add to what you said about it being an american made film, its also about americans, so people out there saying "bah it only shows americans fighting"...well duh.

What does this have to do with anything? There have been plenty of films dealing with the bad of America.

My favorite was the dropping and fighting in Normandy.
Least favorite was Bastogne. Just too monotonous.

DITTO - Some of you people would shit thier pants and coward like a god damn church boy when you heard a whole company of Hitlers crack troops shootin at ya.
---
I would also like to see a movie on the Russian Front, perferably the invasion of Poland!
But this is simply hollywood, they will only show what americans will watch, unless Spielberg goes out of his way to make a movie on it.
The last two episodes were kind of emotional to watch.. it sumed up what happened and told what the soldiers would do when they got older... *sniffs*
Read the book if you're more interested in what happened, more detailed.
