The game was quite playable and only lagged for a sec during a hellish battle with alot of bad guys. Keep tweaking and testing it using 3D Mark 03 or something equivalent to that to see if you're getting any improvements after every tweak.

Funny someone should mention not playing either game....i have HL2 installed and only played about 2 hrs worth....i just don't care to log onto steam everytime i want to play. Also, i think the game sucks. Not worth the trouble. Hey, anyone wanna buy HL2 from me?

ark, you just didnt play long enough. steam is pretty cool, once you get used to it.

I got on medium settings 50 to 20 fps, and 65 to 25 fps on low. I have a light OC, on my video card and CPU.

New prob. Im lost at the part after the guy with the lantern leads you through the dark, and then you get into the airduct, and you get out. the emergency ladder doesnt work, and all these spider things keep respawning. where do I go?

Okay, Im a good ways past that now. I think I went the worng way, when the sarge tells you you have a choice, I went down the ladder rather than across the bridge..

That "They Took My BABY!!!" part was fuckin scary...
