IMO, He would fucking suck.
.....and I think they could use a black guy and still make it cool - They'd just need to make the script, plot etc better than the last few, and people wouldn't make such a big deal about a new aspect like that.....The last half-decent bond movie was Goldeneye.

There are so many night scenes it owuld be hard to see him... [/quote:46e72]

I believe your right, it is that guy.
I think they should of use Paul Blackthorne, for those of you who dont know him, he played Stephen Saunders in season 3 of 24.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0085860/
I think him or McGregor would be awesome.

McGREGOR 'IN NEGOTIATIONS FOR BOND ROLE'
Scottish hunk EWAN McGREGOR is allegedly in negotiations to take on the role of suave superspy JAMES BOND.
The troubled 21st Bond installment's release date has been postponed until 2006 to allow MGM bosses time to recruit a director and a replacement for departing 007 PIERCE BROSNAN
But film insiders insist The TRAINSPOTTING star has beaten Bond wannabes COLIN FARRELL, HUGH JACKMAN, CLIVE OWEN, SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS oOo: and JUDE LAW to the role, because of his successful portrayals of heros and lotharios.

I'd almost rather an unknown get the role. MacGregor would be alright, I guess, but I don't think he's "suave" enough.
