I think it just gets you out of trouble for minor speeding tickets, for example 50 in a 40 or something like that.

I know some people who have them, sadly I do not.

Good luck trying to use it with any cop but the one who gave it to you. Might as well use a "get out of jail for free" pass from your Monoply game.

actually i met this cop last week that was interested in buying my car and he said to give him a call if i ever get a ticket and gave me his business card with his number on the back. it turns out im not selling my car at what he offered, so i dont know if he will be happy to help me if i ever take him up on his offer.

He'll do the same deal if you give him road head while he has "blues and two's" blaring. wallbash:

actually california has a huge thing like that. Lots of people who own exotics pay about $1800 a year and they get a card and a liscense plate fram that say they are part of some CHP club or something. It basically gets them out of big fines and tickets for speeding.

Yeah right.

Ive read up on police officer forums, trust me, that card wont do shit for you. Just like people who put Police association stickers on their car, thinking the cops wont stop them cause they try to fool them that they are a cop also spank:

Ok, i'm older than most of you guys here so i can speak from experience. A few ways of "getting out of a ticket"

1. The offense can't be too fuckin' crazy
2. Pull over and give officer PLENTY of room...don't leave him standing in traffic
3. Be courteous
4. If you have one of those silly cards, ask him "will this help any?" as you hand him your licence.
5. Listen to him.....don't question him
6. Make the officer feel safe (pull over w/room, turn off engine, roll down windows, turn on interior lights, have ID ready, and place hands on wheel)

You follow these simple rules and chances of you getting a verbal instead of a ticket are increased. You just have to use some common sense. Other than a parking ticket (when i wasn't around), i only got ticketed once.

Note: I had a cop question me once about me pulling up far on the grass on a major hwy, i just said "I wanted to make sure you were safe getting out of your car Sir". Cop liked that and told me to drive safe and have a good day after a clean license check.

The world is my urinal

Thats how I do it when I get pulled over. WE dont have fancy cards up here. Usually when I see a cop flip on his lights and I know its me I pull over well before hes behind me and I wait for him with windows down(if weather permits) and the car turned off. Knock on wood but I havent got a ticket for speeding yet.
