Haha, sucks for them. 360 is so awesome. I've got Perfect Dark Zero, Call of Duty 2, Project Gotham 3, Madden 2k6, and I've been playing Halo 2 on it as well. It all runs like a dream.

Also been reports that people aren't giving the psu brick enough room to breath.
I don;t get it really, firstly the main reason for this brick was to make the console smaller, sizewise xbox360 isn't that much smaller than the original
http://www.hardocp.com/images/articles/ ... 1_22_l.jpg
theres maybe a couple of inches in it overall. The cpu has 3 cores and the heatsink covering it is liquid cooled which gives the impression it can run kind of hot. Ive read that people have stopped their consoles crashing by having the power brick suspended on string in the air ( oOo: ).
Don't really understand how the brick seems to be the cause of this problem. Nearly all nintendo consoles have had a powerbrick in line on the adaptor cable and they didn't need any special air venting considerations.

My original xbox has worked flawlessly from the first day of release over here. Yet to have any kind of trouble.

Same as my Playstation 2...Never had one issue with it, and I got it 3 months after it came out...

Well its safe to say sony seem to be the masters of dodgy console design, both ps1 and ps2 had issues with their optical drives, and psp had issues with its button layout, lcd quality and the disc flying out if the console got flexed.

I guess it was just luck that my ps2 hasn't fucked out on me..My dad's SONY dvd player that he has had for 2 years fucked up a few days ago, while his 8 year old pioneer one hasn't yet.
I might get the PS3, if it is $399 or less...
