Well i found out some more details about what is going on at home when im at work.

We all know he's been depressed after having the stroke because he has memory problems, he's not supposed to drive or lift anything - and of course, he has to watch what he eats because after all the surgeries, he only has 1 or 2 good arteries around his heart. His live basically consists of him watching tv and staying home. My mom took him to see the doctor because she thought maybe it was his meds acting like this and when the three of them (doctor, mom and dad) were discussing about what to do, my dad got very belligerant about it and was yelling and arguing with everyone. It came to where the doctor had to tell my dad to sit down and stfu because my dad had stood up when he was arguing as if he was going to motion towards the doctor. He wants my dad to go into some therapy and see a psychologist, so he has an appointment next week. After the meeting, the doctor quietly told my mom that when my dad gets like that, she needs to call the police and tell them to send a special mental health official to accompany them. My mom is worried about whats going to happen, but it looks like if he keeps acting up this way,theyre gonna put him in a straight jacket and off he goes to the pokey for i dont know how long. For now, we are just trying to keep him from getting upset at things - which is hard.

He knows something is happening to him and he was talking to my mom about how maybe he should be in the hospital. I know its gonna make his life worse because he's gonna be lonely in there. I feel worse for my mom because this is her life - she has been taking care of my dad for the past 2 years since he had his stroke and his personality is much more sad, angry and argumentative. He has an appointment next week and we'll see what happens then i guess.

That's really too bad. I hope you dad can somehow get better. If I were religious i'd pray for your family...but i'm not so I don't think I can do that...but i'll keep your family in mind and hope that things work out for you.
