lol that's what i was thinking of doing. it's doubtfull that i can next summer but 2008 is when i'll try to if i cant then. a friend of mine is joining the army next summer, so i was hoping to go to basic with him.

You'll get killed in the army. If you're shot, well, you're basically dead. Atleast in the Navy if the ship goes overboard you still have a second chance to get on your paddleboat.

Comatose I don't think you're in a position to start telling people what to do. You sound like my brother exactly. He thinks he took the best classes and made the greatest decisions with his life so he tells everyone else what to do. You may not be as bad as him but I'm noticing you become more and more like him.

sounds good, infantry is the only way to go....and make sure you request airborne or air assault school in your contract and make sure you have a slot for it on your contract before you sign. who knows if you join in 2008, i will have graduated and be a comissioned officer by then and you may wind up under my command happy:

air assault they teach you how to rapel off rope from a chopper and airborne school they teach you how to jump out of a plane.
the 101st airborne division is the army's air assault division and the 82nd airborne is the armys airborne division.
