i got same problem. make sure you got the new ati drivers installed. they released some new ones today. i installed them and it worked for me

Runs pretty well on my machine.

Except, anyone else have INTENSE lag for like the first 15-20 seconds when starting a round?? It happens everytime, then goes away and the game plays fine...

ok got into main menu then started loading a game and it took forever.looks like its shat on my pc.

No. Game does indeed take forever to load. Just like BF2. They need to fix first game loading lag definitely. Shit kinda gets repetitive though.

loads up nice and quick for me no problem.

it's an ok game. not really my style gameplay though. i don't know really wtf i'm doing. don't know how to use the vehicles or any of the special classes. probably won't buy for me.

Depends on your system,i dont get any lag or long loading times. Seems to be more cpu related.

or memory...runs fine for me. alot of shit is going on in this game. alot to keep track of..scrolling text, gunfire, your objective. way too many things to keep track of in my opinion. learning curve is ugly on this one. the WW2 ET seemed much more user friendly. gameplay is a bit advanced and may hurt the game overall. I dont see casual gamers latching onto this game. im passing on this...

Yup thats what a lot of people are thinking, too much shit to pay attention to. Dunno wtf they were thinking, just seems they put TOO much thought into the mp side of things instead of keeping it to the simple "do the objectives and stfu".

I think the idea was give the players alot of content to keep them around for awhile. ala BF2...im still fucking around with that game with the different clasees etc. bottom line is there is too much shit on the HUD to watch much less keep track of objectives, not get killed, run over etc. annoy:

My deal with the game (and I guess this is just gaming in general) is that my shit was current when they started really pumping this game, now I'm "outdated" and really I dont "game" enough anymore to give a shit about upgrading.

As for the game itself, it feels like RTCW: ET "Glutton Edition". I'm sure the manual will do a better job of explaining whats going on, but it just doesn't feel unique enough for me to give a damn about the game. It's just the same shit we've seen done before, and done better. There are still enough people playing BF2 if you REALLY want your team-objective kick.
