Ironically enough, the "poor" citizens of hackdirt should all be murdered anyway. there's a small side quest to do with hackdirt, and if you've done it you'll know what i mean.

Graphics don't matter to me. I know elder Scrolls are quality games regardless of graphics.
Tribes still probably whoops it's ass though rock:

Morrowind.
If you're looking for the classic RPG with a strong storyline, in depth characters, and turn based action... look some where else.

I never played Morrowind. Is it anything like Fable, KOTOR, or FF?

None of them. However, the one thats closest would be Fable, if you ask me. Its really a concept of its own.

Its a first person fantasy with massive depth and theres so much to discover in it, huge game with big replay value, worth every penny imo.
I just bought 2 sticks of 1gig ram so my game should play great soon enough.
Even on medium or low details this game is really enjoyable.
I've not had much chance to play it lately so i'm on like level 2, heh, hunting the vampireh unter in Bruma. Some guy called gommo or gumma jus attacked me for walkin through his front door, I thought I'd run towards the guards and let them take care of him and his big-ass sledehammer ha!
Also did that Glarthir mission, felt really bad when I went into his basement to read his notes, felt such a bastard loney:

No, nothing like them. Probably the exact opposite while still staying within the bounds of what constitutes an RPG.

Youll meet him again.
Glarthrir. Probably one of my favorite quests. Next time - when Im going to play a complete bastard. . .I'm going to complete his quest the way HE wants it to go down - and collect a nice paycheck.

I *SO* know what you mean: aside from the stupid character going right into battle with the enemies and getting itself killed (and making me reload after shouting a few curses), I rather enjoyed it.

Level up and it starts dropping, as well as being used by Bandits.
