"You know what really galls me? How those that seem to yell loudest for war have never seen one. They've never seen a buddy disappear from the waist up after a shell hit, then see his legs stand there for a moment before falling over. They never saw a friend all psyched up after finishing his patrol get hit in the belly with shrapnel, see his guts spill out, then watch him try to gather up his intestines lying in the dirt. This is happening to the other guy too, fathers, husbands, sons, brothers just like us."They never saw what napalm does do a little girl's skin. They never saw a 19-year-old screaming and writhing on the ground because a mine blew his legs off. They never saw a man take a bullet through the brain, then watch his body flop around on the ground for a minute or so because it doesn't realize he's dead. They never put pieces of someone into a bag, not knowing who it was until you read the tags, because there wasn't any face left to go along with the other parts. They haven't seen the @#% I've seen, and they want to do it all over again. Those bastards!

Sadam sponsors terrorism'. Where's the proof? I thought we were going after bin Laden for that. But wait, Afghanistan ain't got any oil. So we need another monster, who's got something worth taking. And Saddam is so damn convenient. Yeah, he's an evil sonovabitch who deserves to be taken out, but are we the ones who should do it? Are our kids the ones who should die for it?

Do you know who destroyed Suddam's army, and kicked his ass back to hiding?? Yep, the US. Now, it's common sense he'll do everything to fuck up the person who destroyed his army and life(which was the 3rd biggest army in the world at the time).

I wouldn't doubt if half of the terroists and half their funding are coming from Suddam.

It's time we take this asshole out of power... most countries are just fustrated to think IF we do, half of the worlds oil is in our hands, well fuck them other countries, to be jealous.

it is not my writing, but I have to go against this war because usually when war is caused by politicians, things get ugly. the first war in Iraq was justified by the invasion of Kuwait, but what is to seriously justify this without proof? I can't believe how inadequate the weapons inspections have been and I am sure that is the catalyst behind George Bush's wanting to invade Iraq but where is the absolute proof?

sure he has gassed his people, etc. you have to remember stuff like that goes on all around the world at any time, check out Africa for instance. Why isnt anything being done about most African countries? because they have no substantial government of a HUGE national resource such as oil. but oil isn't the problem, it is the politicians. if Iraq is invaded, it is known that nearly all muslims will be told that the United States and Britain etc. are on a second Christian crusade. Imagine the impact of that, can you really live with it? i can't

I was gonna say I cant believe tony blair is supporting this war. it is basically suicide on part of his political career. if he authorizes british troops, it goes against all labor party ideals and he could very possibly be asked to resign. a few members of parliament will resign if he goes through with this. see what a mess is being created!

Today you don't need a huge army.

You only need money and sources. In this case, Suddam has both the money and sources and he could EASILY buy or create nasty weapons.

And I have NO DOUBT he is going to attack the US, or have someone do it for him.

No proof huh? Did anyone even bother to watch Powell's presentation to the UN weeks ago? That's the thing! None of the people against the war bother to watch any of this stuff that would convince them otherwise. They're too busy Jackin off. All Saddam needs is a suicidal terrorist to bring a vile of VX to Central Park on a breezy day to bring the world to its knees. drop it, and ALL living things in the City of New York would be killed in a violent death. Humans, dogs, cats, birds, trees, and grass are gone. The city would remain uninhabitable for many, many years to come. Do you want this to happen before there is any action to prevent such catastrophes? apparently not.

right now all we know are saddam's capabilities to attack israel, not the united states. that is not enough proof for me. fuck israel let them take care of themselves, we already gave them enough equipment
