That's what we used to call them over here man. Like some years back but now they're (by most) called du rags. So WTH are you talking about? The hat that the swimmer's wear is called an "Swimming Cap".

im saying that if yall called them wave caps and now du rags yall are all wrong (and i used to spend my summers on the south side of birmingham--delta st near 6th ave.) and the kids in birmingham always knew the difference-like i said you probably live in like homewood or mtn brook or hoover or something

Couldn't you just ask me where i live before you began assuming stuff. I live in Centerpoint right now but before that i lived in Midfield and 2 yrs before that i lived in hoover.

ive asked you 100o where you lived, but never replied. midpoint is over by bessemer and centerpoint is like the N side right? my dad used to live on delta st, but now lives in alabaster/pelham/helena area. but i used to go to my dads and spend my summers in birmigham-but you know how that is

what do i think of you? i dont know-i mean you just arent like the black kids that i am used too
