Aliens was much better than the first, but both are still great. Empire Strikes back is best SW ever. Was any1 else reminded of the hoth battle when in RotK, the Rohhirim were attacking the mumakil?

ROTJ was the worst of the original three. It was so.... campy. It was trying to hard to be cutsie to appease its younger audience. It MIGHT have been okay if chewie hadnt done the tarzan thing. Lucas fucked it up there. Thankfully, he gopt rid of the singing ewoks at the end. The only good parts about it were tyhe space battle (outdone by the new series) and the whole luke/vader dynamic. |
Since I am only 18, i didnt get to see it in theaters, I saw it on video, and what i saw on video really impressed me. The space battle was great, the duel was the best duel in star wars including duel of fates etc. I had no idea there were singing ewoks in the original though. eek: I also thought the ground battle was pretty cool but somewhat unrealistic.
