[quote="TGB!":1f8a6]::sigh::

MacBeth has neither "idealism" or "courage" - his "strength" isnt derived from personal fortitude but his CONFIDENCE in the prophecies of the three witches. MacBeth is a villain. . .bottom line. As is his wife.

>>A protagonist who lacks the characteristics that would make him a hero.

But they are still "heroes" - albeit not in the traditional sense. MacBeth does NOTHING heroic.

Youre taking the definition far to plainly and literally. . .if this were the case EVERY villain would be an "anti-hero". . .

would Hamlet be a better example?...

Was he not "somewhat good" at the start of the play, I am quite sure he was fighting on the good guys side while the 3 witches watched the battle in the opening of the play. Not to mention you see signs of remorse from him threwout the play, until evil consumes him. but, meh what ever.

Macbeth is a hero because he never gives up even when he is completely outnumbed and when all the predictions of his death came true.

It gives the reader a sense of heroism because he always fights on.

You're looking at this play far to linearly. There are no perfect heros or villians. If you read the play and weren't cheering for Macbath at the end even after all the horrible things he's done, then all Shakespeare's work was lost to you.

TGB, you have to understand that when it comes to evil and shit, Akuma's word is golden.

Taking one persons advice as concreate just because you believe him to be the all knowing one is ignorance.

It is like thinking everything Tripper would say about Rap is absolute truth and we should all believe his theories.

Kinda like believing Hitler...and you see what happened because of that.

You just happened to be the example I used, which is refering to someone thinking you're the epitome of knowledge for rap. Im not saying you think you are and im saying you're not, im just saying ti is the same as thinking Akuma is the only one who would know about evil or something.

Why do you read everything as a negative...It was just the only example that came to my head at the moment dealing with that you know alot about rap and it is one of the most singled out things here as you're one of the only ones who do...unlike the othe rtopics that people kow about war and guns because that's alot of people and not just a tiny number.

Fuck id of thought my comment was a compliment, only reason it has a sarcastic overtone was because I was addressing acid or whatever and not you.
