Yeah same, that's why I'm having such problems with them in BF2. I try to pull off DC stunts and fuck up.

I loved cranking on the rudder and going into an almighty continuous controlled spin. 9/10 the dude in the gunner seat of the Apache, or the gunner/passengers in the Blackhawk, would bail out thinking we were going down. rock: Everything was well under control though. cool:

No...you shouldn't have to make a new account to change your name, all I want is my in-game to say $p!k3, but that contains illegal charcters, and every other form of that name is taken apperntly.

Besides when the full version comes out I'm not going to delete my account which has my saved rank, and stats just to put a clan tag on or change my name.

Edit: From what I'm reading on Planet Battefield your not allowed to change your name, you can't have spaces, certain charcters, you can't change your account name, this guy was saying how he has been using his handle since Battlefield 1942 and he can't anymore becuase it's already in use.

Where are helicopters and shit. All i see is tanks and jeeps. And I cant join multiplayer for some reason. i try making an account and it says creating account but stays on it forever so i just exit out of it?

Anyone feel like planning a game tonight - if we have a stable server to play on? Playing with strangers is boring in my opinion.

Keep trying, it'll work after awhile...or should. Only 32+ person servers have the carrier which the cobra and jet planes sit on.

Yea thats pretty much a no-go. My Ti4600 just shits out.

And it is pretty dumb on EA/DICE's side to not have the kind of naming system that most others have - Master Log-In to track your stats. . .and simply have the ability to change your name any time you want. How hard is THAT?

Well hell if they cant allow key-mapping to the number-pad (for a left-hander this is critical. . .) im not suprised they can screw up naming conventions.

I learned how to use the computer even though im a lefty. Actually, i can do many things with my left and right hands equally. It was hard at first, but now i think it paid off for these types of games.
