For the second time in this thread: Noone said anything about cell shading requiring graphical horsepower.

Just seems to me he's changed his tune somewhat after the "insert foot into mouth" comment.
Well in my opinion I think cell shading effects the gameplay in a negative way.

But you've constantly said graphics dont matter gameplay does, if graphics dont matter hows that affect gameplay?

Zelda windwaker would play the same if it had highpoly graphics or cell shading since thats how it was designed, a graphical style is not gonna affect how the game is played.

Therefore: graphics affecting gameplay =

The fact is is that it is a Zelda game, and I like the format of the previous Zelda games. Would you like Halo to be a third person game all of a sudden instead of FPS? OOT > WW

Going by that logic you'd be as well saying the transition of zelda from 2d to 3d negatively impacted the game since its a different format.

Btw, halo originally was a third person game.

I can never find that story bungie.org did, showing the evolution of halo from its original concept to the final game. Which makes me sad, as it was quite interesting

IMO 2D to 3D Zelda worked fine...it was a necessary transistion especially since people won't buy 2D games for a 3D system because new is always better than old to stubborn minds.

I don't know whihc one id choose between LTTP and OOT...best of both dimensions.
