I'll keep this short and simple:
- Republicans had a fabulous convention and the president stepped up to the plate and hit a home run.
-Arnold was a hit wheter you like him or not.
-Kerry had a petty little ralley just seconds after the RNC concluded that adressed nothing the president proposed in his speech. He was just running scared from Zell Miller a few nights before .
- Canadians can't vote in this election. Thank God.
- Bush will be president for four more years. rock:
- TGB and Noc speak the truth rock:

Old Reliable is like.. 17 years old. And if he is out of high school, and he is in his fifth year of University.. well, I hope he didn't pay for it.
I presented facts, Short Hand. Something that seems to be innately impossible for you to do in an argument, likely due to your complete and utter lack of any education worth mentioning. Please go back to something you know, perhaps the Insult Pic Thread.

China might be communistic but they still have progress and reform. They want to have the perfect economy. However we deal (and need to stay stable) a wave length pattern of recessions.

He was referring to those who swear this is the WORST economy ever. We need to get someone from the depression to educate some folks.

No, I say you're 17 years old and uneducated because that's how you present yourself, especially when you start spewing off-the-chart conspiracy theories and completely baseless commentary on topics about which you obviously have absolutely no clue.

That what Im studying old - with an Asian emphasis - and nothing Ive seen suggests that within 16 years China will enter a radical stage of economic/social development that will quadruple gdp per capita and overtake the united states. 1 billion versus 300 million is the first problem theyre facing. You are going to need RADICAL economic reform and nothing suggests that those "elected officials" are going to give up the reigns of power anytime soon. With an an 85% literacy rate (you know the farmers are bringing that down) and a Birth to death ratio of 2-1 - China still has LEAPS and bounds to go before theyre economic prosperity is distrubeted across the ENTIRE continent.
And just because you dont let the "media" manipulate you into supporting a two party system, doesnt mean you dont support a two party system. Just because youre "aware" of the bullshit doesnt mean youre still being taken for a ride. It's the intellectual elitists that make me laugh, as if by virtue of their learnin they are somehow more politically advanced than everyone else.

i'm not into the asian sector as much as latin america or europe, but I do know that their enviornmental concerns are going to grab international attention soon as they are advancing too rapidly. the farmers are actually forming into small semi-democratic groups to help with their situations (once again its beginning of semester and these facts are fuzzy for me).
as for american political scene, its much like other countries, only they try to personalise it so it seems warm and fuzzy. politics is a do or die business and im not ready to make my decisions and where i stand politically. for myself i am strong on environment issues and global relations. as for other things.......well i'm not an expert so i have no say. economics....blah
