I've only played the very beginning on my meagre 9800 pro and it looks n plays fantastic, although I'm buying a new ati X850xt video card to get the real deal, its worth it.......plus my radeon has had it.

It doesn't play too bad on my system, no the kinda game i like, ive still not got out in the open yet but with fights with goblins etc the framerate stays prety high.

It defaulted to "high" settings on my pc, 1024x768 no fsaa with hdr\bloom enabled. Most of the sliders are around half way up, considering the really high setting smake x1800's chug the x800xt seems to be doing pretty well so far. Ive had it up to 1680x1050 and was still kinda ok to play.

Couopleof pics at 1680 res, im still wroking on getting a vid, would prefer to get outside to see how the game runs since the outdoor environments are meant to be hard on systems.

What FPS are you getting at different resolutions?

Try them out for us.

This game is sneaky as fuck. One quest had my first branching path, and in the end - depending on what you do - you either get a nice Elven Longsword, or a full set of Chainmail. The only chainmail piece I was missing was the legs, so I opted for the longsword.

does anyone know where you can buy potions and lockpicks from? i've tried a bunch of mages guilds for potions but nobody seems to sell any.

When the vids recording my fps gets halved because of the recording, outdoors its generally around 30fps @ 1280x1024 with the sliders up full. My p4 @ 4ghz helps out a bit though. Some more pics in this dir here with fraps fps counter enabled. The deeper into forests you go the more your fps gets hit.

Ended up having my horse attack me cause i hit him with an arrow, had to get into the water and swim away from him. Some prety weird glitches ive seen as well, a deer got stuck inside a rock, i could see his antlers flickering through the other side of it. At the stable in one of the pics a guy walked past a horse and the horse appeared on the stable roof. eek:
