Weight gainers are horrible man, they're loaded with sugars and whatnot. Even if you did gain weight using it, it's not going to transfer into lean body mass. Whey protein is much better for gaining weight, but you must work out to utilize it effectively. You should consume somewhere around 350 g of protein a day if you are a serious weight lifter in order to gain weight.
