Exactly. The initial MS configurations are made for fixed-wing aircraft: in order for it to make any sense, rotary-wise, many things need to be changed... and unfortunately, most people don't bother or simply don't know how. Obviously, there's a major difference between using a keyboard (for the collective and rudder) and mouse (for yaw and pitch) and the actual controls, but even this is nothing more than an adaptation period.
